How to reach the venue
The Electra Palace Hotel occupies a central location right in the heart of the city. This is a location most people know and you’ll find it easy to get to.
From Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos”
Reaching the Electra Palace Athens hotel is easy, no matter how you arrive at the city – just follow the below directions:
Bus: Take the X95 bus to Syntagma. Turn left on to Fillelinon str, then turn right on the second street on your right (Navarhou Nikodimou str.). Electra Palace Athens is on the corner of the third block on your right.
Taxi: taxis are stationed right outside the arrival gates at the airport. There is a fixed flat rate from the airport to the city center (and vice versa), costing approximately 43 euros during the day and 59 euros in the evening (00:00 – 05:00).
Train: Take the metro (blue line) to Syntagma. Exit through the Syntagma sq. exit, then walk down the square to Fillelinon str. Turn left on to Fillelinon str, then turn right on the second street on your right (Navarhou Nikodimou str.). Electra Palace Athens is on the corner of the third block on your right.
Scientific presentations and PC reception
The Symposium Hall offer full audio-visual equipment.
A PC Reception desk will be available at the Symposium area. All presentations should be clearly labeled with the author’s name and session’s title.
All speakers are kindly requested to deliver their presentations at least 2 hours prior to the session they participate.
Certificates of Attendance
Certificate of attendance will be available on the last day of the Symposium. A personalized certificate will be distributed to each registered participant against his/her badge on October 3rd.
Badges and Security
It is essential that all participants wear their personal badge at all times in the Symposium area, as it is the official entrance pass to scientific sessions.

Scientific & Commercial Exhibition
An exhibition of scientific products, pharmaceuticals, instruments, equipment and relevant materials will be organized during the Symposium and located in the Symposium Venue.

Letter of Invitation for Visa
An official Letter of Invitation to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the 9th International Symposium on MDS and SAA in Childhood will be issued ONLY after a completed registration form and full payment have been received along with proof of accommodation booked during the Symposium dates.
